4-22 Foundation Academic Support (An Introduction to STEM) and One-to-One Mentoring

Launching in 2020

4-22 Foundation are proud to announce that we have partnered with The Mayor of London and Enfield Council to begin our Introduction to STEM and One-to-One Mentoring project.

The project gives young people the chance to receive hands-on support to engage with education, receive early exposure to careers in coding, programming, and gaming, and to learn the social, emotional, and communication skills needed to succeed.

The supportive, healthy relationships formed between mentors and mentees are both immediate and long-term and contribute to a host of benefits for young people.

These include increased confidence, increased resilience, increased well-being, and raised aspirations. The mentor becomes a positive role model for the young person, at once both a confidant and a source of inspiration. Our project will inspire, motivate, and enable young people to raise their aspirations, gain a much greater understanding of STEM subjects, increase their self-esteem and confidence whilst achieving their full potential.
